We talk a lot about content marketing because it is such an important part of our online marketing strategy. In fact, there are numerous studies that show having a blog attached to your website increases traffic to your site substantially. And you can’t tell me that we don’t all need inbound traffic.

But there are many people that find content creation to be time-consuming and usually put it on the back burner for another day.

The good news is that there are plenty of topics and easy ways to create your content and get it published quickly and on a regular basis. It doesn’t have to take half the day and it doesn’t have to be perfect.

People love stories and they love to know that what is being written is being written by you.  So don’t be afraid to share who you are and your knowledge with others.

To get you going here are some easy blog post ideas that you can write quickly and have posted within an hour or less!

Quick Blog Post Ideas for Fast Turn Around

1.      Answer Questions

Do you get the same questions asked over and over? Create a post answering and teaching the information that’s obviously not understood or easily found.

2.      Make a List

People love to read their posts quickly. In fact, most the time people don’t even read the entire content. They are skimming for information. So make it easy and give them a list. Less writing for you; easier reading for them.

3.       How To Posts

“How to” posts are very popular because people always want to learn how to do something. Think about your industry and the types of questions that you get asked on a regular basis and write a quick “how to” post.

4.  Industry Information

Sharing information and tips about your industry is how you become an expert. You know a lot about your industry so why not share with those that want to learn more? Create a series of posts surrounding some interesting industry info and facts.

5.  Responses to Customer Questions

We all have customers that ask a lot of questions. And if those folks are asking then chances are there are many more people that want to know the answer too. Craft a quick article addressing the answer.

6. New Products or Updates to Products

If you are in a product market, this is a great way to introduce people to what’s new and upcoming or any changes that may be happening with products. Remember to lead with benefits of the product in this category, not features.

7. Rewrite an Old Post

Sometimes information changes and you can use that to rewrite an old post. Refresh, reuse, and re-share it to your social media. Search engines love when you go back and update content. So why not rewrite an old post with a new title?

The seven tips are quick and easy ways to get some content researched and crafted within 30 – 60 minutes or so.  Grab a notebook and start brainstorming some topic ideas, do some quick research, grab some great images, and get something published on your blog and for social media with an hour.

Many people write in bulk and then schedule them to publish throughout the week or the month. Do whatever works for you and your busy schedule

Having plenty of content on your website and pass through your social media will help boost traffic and that is the type a result we all need online.
