Systems are critical for every small business owner. Do you want to be able to grow your business without having to work twice as hard? Does doubling your revenue equal doubling the amount of hours you work?

By putting systems in place you are allowing the infrastructure you set up to do most of the hard work. This will effectively free you up to work on owning and running your business, instead of the business running you.

Integrating Systems into Your Small Business for Efficiency and Growth

What are the systems that you need in your business?

There are four critical areas depending on your type of business.

Onemain area is in your marketing. You also need it in sales, administration and support. Also, if you're selling a product, then a fulfillment is a must.

The type of system you want to set up areones that help:

*Consistency.

*Methods and systems to improve efficiency.

*Methods you can set up to lower costs.

*Ways you can set your marketing on a system - CRM tools are especially important in this area.

*Systems can also affect your sales. Do you have systems in place to reach out to past customers? Testimonials? Follow up and follow through on customer satisfaction? Many of us may think that systems are just for larger businesses. Understanding your management model and the quality control of your people and product is definitely important.

However, even being a one person entrepreneur, you still need systems to be able to do everything that you need, yet still spend your valuable time improving and growing your business.

By having a system in place you're creating a multifold tool.

You are creating a balance between your time and the ability to make money efficiently and effectively. But you're also building something that you could potentially sell down the road.

If you are the only "employee" and the business is only as good as you are, are you building an actual business that you can selland make a profit somewhere down the road? Or are you simply buying a job by having your own business?

Take some time to think about how you can automate or set up systems that will help you save time to become more efficient. Also think about potential employees that need something to follow so everyone is on the samepage.

When developing your systems, think about the franchise model. Then start integrating some into your business and free up valuable time and money.
