We talk a lot about using blogging as an online business extension. What I want to address today is the best way to utilize your blog in a fashion that will increase your reach and interest for your readers.

The whole purpose of our website and blog is to inspire engage and encourage our readers to come back to our site over and over with the hopes that they eventually become a customer that will stay with us for a long time. In order to do that we have to be offering our readers value content. One way to make sure that you are offering  great content is by using a blogging schedule, otherwise known as a posting schedule.

Tips to Use a Posting Schedule for Best Blogging Results

By scheduling out your posts, you can make sure that you're not offering the same type of topics, with the same type of content, over and over. Keep all your posts on a somewhat of a systematic offering. For example:

Monday: expert advice

Tuesday: motivational moments

Wednesday: guest post

Thursday: interaction, such as asking a question or sharing a poll

Friday: product spotlight

Saturday: industry news or something about your business

Sunday: personal story or humorous story.

By offering your readers a multiple topic blog with rich, varied content, you're going to be attracting different readers who have different interests but yet are still within your niche. This will allow you to expand your reach, which is going to bring you more business in the long run. You also are going to be offering a lot of value content to your readers, so it was a perfect way to increase your newsletter and email signups as well.

If you use WordPress, they do have an editorial calendar that you can install as a plugin. It is an easy way to schedule out your posts and know what and when is posting at a glance so that you can mix it up in a proper manner. It also allows you to work ahead so you make the best use of your time too.

Try taking a look at your posting schedule and see if a bit of organization will help you find the sweet spot in your content that will add value and increase traffic to your site.
